What is Profit First?
Profit First is a financial strategy and system that finds and secures your profit in any kind of transaction, allowing you to 1) Pay yourself first; 2) Controls your expenses; and 3) Cleans up your finances.
How can Profit First make me more profit?
Profit First identifies how much profit you are actually making, creates a system to capture it, and removes your profit from your operating expense account so you keep it. Profit First then sets rules for when you make payments from your various accounts and control expenses.
What kind of businesses can benefit from Profit First?
While my book is written specifically for real estate investors, Profit First works for any business. The system is about taking your profit first from any transaction, and removing it from your general operating account so it doesn't get siphoned away. It's actually simpler to do in other businesses.
